1. Subscription Refund Window
If you are unsatisfied with Explain My Policy Pro, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase. This applies to both monthly and annual subscriptions.
2. How to Request a Refund
Since all payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, refund requests must be submitted through the respective store:
- iOS (App Store): Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the Explain My Policy purchase, and request a refund.
- Android (Google Play): Open Google Play > Account > Order history > find the Explain My Policy subscription > Request a refund. Alternatively, visit Google Play Order History.

3. After the 14-Day Window
Refund requests made after 14 days from the initial purchase are handled at the discretion of Apple or Google, according to their respective refund policies. We cannot guarantee refunds beyond the 14-day window.
4. Renewal Refunds
Auto-renewal charges are eligible for a refund if you cancel within 48 hours of being charged and have not actively used Pro features during the new billing period. To prevent unwanted renewals, cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
5. How to Cancel Your Subscription
- iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Explain My Policy > Cancel
- Android: Google Play > Subscriptions > Explain My Policy > Cancel
- In-App: Go to Settings > Subscription > Manage Subscription
Cancellation stops future charges. You retain Pro access until the end of the current billing period.
6. Free Tier
The Free tier requires no payment and is not subject to this refund policy. You can use Free features (1 policy, 5 daily chat messages) indefinitely at no cost.
7. Service Disruptions
If the App experiences a significant service disruption lasting more than 72 consecutive hours that prevents you from using Pro features, you may request a pro-rated refund or account credit for the affected period. Contact us at contact@angriotechnologies.com.
